How much does a law firm website cost?

There is no single price for a law firm website, because there is no single website. A focused five-page site for a solo attorney and a thirty-page site with practice-area pages, attorney profiles, intake forms, and ongoing SEO are different projects, and honest proposals price them differently. Use this guide to understand what drives cost, so you can compare proposals on deliverables instead of headlines.

What the price actually covers

A website project usually includes several kinds of work, and a proposal should name each one:

  • Discovery and structure. Reviewing your practice areas, audience, and existing site, then planning the pages and navigation.
  • Design. The visual direction, layouts, and mobile experience.
  • Development. Building the pages in WordPress, setting up forms, and connecting any integrations.
  • Content. Writing or editing practice-area pages, attorney biographies, and calls to action.
  • Launch checks. Testing forms, links, and devices, setting up redirects for changed URLs, and confirming indexing.
  • Ongoing care. Hosting, updates, backups, and support after launch.

When a quote looks unusually low, one or more of these is usually missing. Ask which items are included before comparing numbers.

What drives the cost up or down

Page count and complexity. More pages mean more design, content, and testing. A site with a few practice-area pages costs less to build than one with dozens of pages, location pages, and custom layouts.

Content readiness. If your firm supplies approved practice information and attorney biographies, the project moves faster. If content must be written from scratch and reviewed by the firm, that work belongs in the scope and the price.

Integrations. Contact forms, intake workflows, CRM connections, chatbots, and scheduling tools each add planning, setup, and testing. A simple contact form and a routed intake workflow are different levels of work.

Branding. A site that applies an existing identity costs less than one that also develops a logo, color system, and brand guidelines.

Ongoing work. A one-time website project and an ongoing plan with SEO, content, and reporting are different engagements. Review the starting prices on our Pricing page to see how the two are separated.

One-time project or ongoing plan?

A one-time project delivers a finished website and a handoff. An ongoing plan adds hosting, maintenance, SEO, content, and reporting over time. Neither is automatically better. A firm with a serviceable site and no visibility work may need the ongoing plan more than a rebuild. A firm whose site is outdated, hard to use, or missing core pages may need the project first.

The right question is not “what is the cheapest option” but “which scope matches what our firm needs next.”

What to ask in a proposal

Before you sign, a proposal should answer these questions in writing:

  • Which pages, features, and integrations are included?
  • Who writes and approves the content, including legal statements and credentials?
  • What happens at each review point, and how many revision rounds are included?
  • What does launch support cover, and what happens afterward?
  • Which costs are separate: ad spend, third-party software, hosting, or additional work?

If a proposal cannot answer these, the price tells you very little.

KASH Software starting prices

Our published starting prices are Foundation $1,995/month, Growth $3,495/month, and Dominance $5,995/month. Each plan defines its pages, services, and support in writing before work begins. Ad spend, third-party subscriptions, and additional work are quoted separately unless expressly included in your proposal.
